Conference and Events Executive

It is ESSENTIAL that you have at least 12 Months experience of working within a Events/meeting/conference office within a hotel.

This is a wonderful opportunity to join an iconic city centre hotel in the heart of Manchester.
This role would suite an established meetings and events co-ordinator looking to take the next step.
The hotel plays host to some of the cities largest functions. So you will be busy.
The role is dealing with enquiries, showing clients around the hotel and selling the unique benefits it has to offer. As well as speaking with existing and lapses clients.
The role is reactive. Which means you will providing tip top service to clients. However there is also some lapsed leads my client wishes for you to develop too.
Day to day task will include;
- Delivering world class customer service
- Taking incoming calls from customers
- Converting enquiries
- Show arounds
- Liaising with internal departments
- Working towards targets
If your an ambitious conference co-ordinator this is a brilliant opportunity to get some first hand experience in one of the largest hotels in the city.

It is also preferable that you have used the 'opera' hotel system previously but not essential.

Salary: £19k + Bonus structure
