Based bang in the center of Manchester close to all of the bars and cool shops this hotel is a landmark hotel in Manchester. It’s a brand so you will have all the support of established processes and a strong management team.


The Assistant Conference and Events Manager role has a strong focus on banqueting. And you will be running sit down meals for up to 300/400. The hotel has very well established SOP’s and you will be leading a team of permanent and casual team members.

Your day to day tasks will include;

  • Leading and coaching
  • Ensuring brand standards are met
  • Managing a large team
  • Being super organised and having the ability to run large events
  • A real focus on banqueting


My client is looking for an established individual who has at least 2 years experience of running events/conferencing or banqueting for large numbers – ideally over 200. You will ideally have worked for a hotel and standards of a 4-star hotel.

It’s a very busy role so we are looking for energetic and passionate candidates who can keep things going, even after a long and tiring shift.
