Senior Sous Chef £30k

My client who is based sous of Manchester is looking for a talented Sous Chef to work as a number 2 within the kitchen.
The role will be working closely with Head Chef ensuring the hotel serves the highest quality food, and work in an effective kitchen.
The hotel has multiple outlets however the core business is the restaurant and conference and banqueting for corporate guests.
The hotel is a very strong brand. You will have all of the resources at your disposal to run a slick kitchen.
Day to day activities will include;
- Working alongside Head Chef on menu creation
- Managing the kitchen in absence of Head Chef
- Leading inspiring and motivating a large team of chefs
- Running an effective operation that has a high need for Conference and banqueting
- PL, Rotas, costing, forecast, HACCP and health and safety
- Cooking to a Rosette standard of food
Ideally we are looking for a strong Sous chef already working for another hotel brand. This role will offer you the springboard to a position as Head Chef.
Candidates who are not working for a hotel, or within the hospitality industry at this time will not be considered, sorry.
